Anyone can pour concrete on flat ground and call it a patio. The work is figuring out why the patio at the back of the house keeps flooding, what the slope behind it is doing to the soil, and whether the retaining wall a previous contractor built is going to fail in three years. We start there. Then we build the backyard.
